Kochi, Thekkady and Alleppey Tour Overview

Day 1

Kochi to Munnar ( 140 KM )

Our representative will receive you at the Cochin /Ernakulam Railway Stationt and drive to Munnar.On the way to munnar watch the waterfalls like Valara waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls.Once you reach Munnar, check in to the hotel. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day or go for a stroll in the Munnar town in the evening for shopping. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2

Munnar Sight seeing

Today after breakfast in the resort. Proceed to Explore the Munnar . Munnar means three rivers and the town is located at the confluence of 3 mountain streams – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, The High Range Club, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, etc.Overnight stay in hotel at Munnar

Day 3

Thekkadey - Periyar National Park Boating, Elephant Safari, Kathakali Show, Kalairipattu Show

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Thekkady and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Thekkady is well known for one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves,Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km and is well known for its wild life and scenic beauty. In You can opt for a cruise on Lake Periyar. During the boat ride spot the wild life (elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, Spotted deer, barking deer and birds of myriad varieties).In the evening if time permit you can attend Kathakali Show/Kalairipattu show. Overnight stay in the hotel at Thekkady.

Day 4

Alleppey - Alleppey Backwater & Houseboa Cruise , Allepuzza Beach

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey and on arrival check into the houseboat. Set out for an awesome overnight backwater cruise in traditional Kerala houseboat. While cruising in the houseboat look out for local inhabitants making coir products, rustic homes and swaying coconut trees in Kerala country side.Overnight Stay and all meals arranged in the houseboat.

Day 5

Kochi Sightseeing : Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St: Francis Church and beaches with Chinese Nets

After break fast Check out the hotel and proceed to Cochin ,if time permit explore Kochi .Visit Fort Cochin still keeping alive its ancient Jewish traditions, the Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St: Francis Church and beaches with Chinese Fishing Nets..
